Fi or F.M Papaz is a Greek-Australian writer, editor, educator and translator living in Brooklyn, New York. Her poetry has been published in both Australia and the United States, in literary magazines and anthologies. Her editorial experience includes: Lead Editor at Tabula Rasa Review, the Managing Editor at Milk Press & co-editor at The Writer’s Foundry Review, where she is an MFA Candidate & Barbara Germack Fellow (2025-2026). Her translations are forthcoming in Cordite Poetry Review & she is teaching an international poetry program June 29th-July 7th at the Ionion Center for Arts & Culture titled, Translation as Archive.
Her work at Poetry Society of New York supports their flagship event, the New York City Poetry Festival in Governors Island. She also teaches immersive workshops for them, including at their Catskills Writing Retreat, executes marketing campaigns is regularly booked to dotypewriter poetry for clients from the MET Opera and Brooklyn Museum to Pratt Institute and the Public.
Fi enjoys collaborating with other creatives across disciplines and has done dramaturg for two plays by Pansy Productions in Melbourne, Australia, Victory Lap & Drama School: A Play.
